I recently stumbled upon some lost video footage from my childhood.
The year is 1989, milk is 28 pence a pint, and my dad is a Yorkshireman which means every single penny is precious, and nothing is to be wasted. We used to get milk delivered, and I was always nervous about testing it, especially in the summer months when it could have been on the doorstep a few hours before we brought it in.
Fortunately, dad was always happy to help with his refined palette and frugal tendencies.
"On the turn" indeed...
